What if we find some damage to the car at check-out?

In case the car has been damaged during the rental you will need to:

  • Complete the damage report together with the car owner by noting down the damages. The damage report is the document attached to the rental instructions and can be found in the confirmation email. If both parties agree on the damages stated, they both will need to sign the report 
  • Communicate the incident to RideLink in less than 24 hours via support@ridelink.com so we can evaluate the situation and contact, if necessary, our insurance policy with Allianz.

If the new damages are caused by you, the renter, you will be asked to pay a security desposit equal to the estimated cost of the repairs. However, this will never be higher than the maximum value of the excess.
